What’s new in Midway.

• Translations (Studio): write the inbox in your members’ languages from the project’s Translations tab. Start from Midway’s French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, or Dutch and edit anything. The inbox follows the language of the page it’s on.
• Image and file sharing is now part of Starter, and voice messages part of Studio. Studio includes every Midway feature.

• Delete your account from Account, Security. It cancels your paid plan, deletes every project, member, chat, and file, removes your login, and emails a confirmation.

• Unread message alerts: members get an email about messages and chat requests they haven’t seen, batched into one email and at most one an hour. Off until the owner turns it on, with an unsubscribe link in every email.
• Owner alerts: an email when member sync gets paused after repeated failures, and when a project nears or reaches its monthly member limit.
• Weekly summary: a Monday email to owners with last week’s messages, chats, and new members.
• Confirmed deal receipts (Studio): both people get an email with the other’s contact details when a deal is confirmed.
• Member sync now reads every page of large Memberstack rosters.

Midway now fits marketplaces and directories, where members contact someone from their profile or listing page.

• One-on-one chat from profile pages: the inbox opens a conversation with the person whose page you’re on. Turn it on from the General tab and copy the ready-made snippet from the Embed tab.
• Chat requests are now a setting. Leave them on, or turn them off so members can message each other straight away. You can also hide the Members tab, so people only reach each other from profile pages.
• Confirm a deal (Studio): one person sends it, the other accepts, and only then are their contact details shared. You choose whether either person can send it or only the one who was messaged. Each step shows up as a line in the chat, so the other person is notified. Until then, phone numbers, emails, and WhatsApp links typed into the chat are hidden.
• The pricing page now shows the member limit on each plan.

• Sync your Memberstack roster daily, weekly, or monthly, at a time you pick in your own timezone.
• Dashboard accounts now verify their email before first use.
